Kirsten Simpson - Veterinary Surgeon
Kirsten Simpson BVMS MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon

Kirsten was born and raised in Aberdeenshire. She always wanted to be a vet since she was very wee and managed to gain a place at Glasgow University School of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated from there in 2006 and got her first job in the Wirral. Kirsten liked Glasgow so much she managed to work her way back up to the central belt 2 years later. She then left small animal practice to have a stint as a locum before working as one of the lead ECC vets at Vets Now.  She then spent 5 years at a practice in the West End of Glasgow before moving to Martin Vets in June 2018. Kirsten has a selection of random hobbies of which Snowboarding, Crossfit, reading, knitting and gaming are but a few! She also enjoys travelling and exploring new cities and countries and is learning Swedish in her (limited) spare time! She has an interest in Opthalmology and Feline Medicine and is just starting her studies towards a Cert AVP In Feline Medicine through the University of Liverpool. Kirsten lives with her other half, Thomas, and their two cats: Audrey and Clementine.
